"No man is an island". True indeed, man can't live with bread alone. He need someone to bring color to his life. He needs everyone and everybody to create his inner being. Lastly he needs them to make his world go round, friends. Friendship is a very special word, it is usually defined as relationship between two people or more. Then we ask ourselves what kind of relationship?, It oftentimes involves a mutual feeling of trust, affection, and behavior that are often agreed by specific group or circles of people. Just like every races and cultures in this world, there is this same feeling that everyone feels when they meet and talk, especially if they see each other at different place far from home. In the field of Higher learning friendship is a different and deep word. it often times carries scientific explanations, pattern of behavior, statistical data's and even continuous observations.there is a complex study of comparison and observation of different relationship that occurs in a certain culture. Why? because every race and culture in our world is different. There are a lot of factors that affects it to have a certainty that may varies from others, like for example Hospitality. In some culture it is practiced differently, that even a man may share his wife to his guest. See, it's really starts to sound complex.
Friendship is every faces you see around, that's how i see friends are, and with friends we create a friendship that really makes us who we are. they might be a group of musician, an artist, a butcher, a shoemaker, news paper man, a vendor, a foreigner, your mom, dad, brother, sister, and even your girlfriend or your wife. It is everywhere, even animals could be one of them just like dogs. It is through friendship we earn and meet new friends. It is somehow a behavior or an attitude, it is where we gain a huge part of our beings, of what we are. For example when we are around a Circle of musician, and those people are our fiends, we tend to form a Friendship in a different manner. through music we share our thoughts, ideas, feelings, emotions and even our very own personal problem. We tend to add up the empty part of ourselves, it may possibly affects our choices of what path should we take. Some may become a professional musicians, some may enroll to a prestigious music schools, others becomes music teacher, few may take other path a little related to music like being a manager to a band or choir, and even you may end up a career far from music. Sometime we tend to ask ourselves how does friendship gives us advantage. To many people there are a lot of aspects and factors that may affect a mutual relationship between two people. For example if a Freshmen in college enters his first class of the semester, for sure he would actually search a place where to sit and what group of student he may blend in. Others who may view him or her different from what he or she used to be even tends to push him or her away. Age and status are some of the important factors and aspects that may affect a friendship. With age, most group of friends are almost in the same age bracket, some may vary a few digit, while there are few instances that a 12 year old may join a group of friends in the bracket of 20's. With status, especially during the medieval period, it is being look up by people. Rich and famous tends to create a brotherhood, guild, and even pacts to uplift there morale in the community. They tend to express there felling through there luxuries and wealth, that those people who can afford can join their circle.
To many people friendship affects there personal being so much that it may even affects their behavior. A man who are often near to crooked friends do oftentimes manifest a rude behavior, while others who goes with the good and happy friends tend to behave nice in the society or community. this is the reason why friendship is a complex word. How come that a crooked man behaves rudely while the other is nice?. Can a crooked man become good and the nice man become a crook?. and how well the society reacts to this events?. For example lets take this view.
- In the world there are a lot of different people belonging to different country, and each country has different culture and custom that may vary or give different views to other people.
- Each country may have a nation of people, yet it may also have a number of different ethnic groups that may vary also from each nationality.
- and each ethnic groups may belong to a certain community that have a number of people belonging also to a certain profession or work.
Yet with all this differences how do they tend to establish a friendship that gives a harmony in the society?
well this is now the foremost importance of taking up the subjects of anthropology, psychology, and sociology in college or even reading related books to those subjects. How Does this connects to friendship? those subjects I mentioned above are all related to human interaction, development and even history of man, a lot of theories to tackle to produce a sound argument that can affect your belief. It is like a pattern of acts that could possibly result to who we really are. It is through this studies we enrich our mind and learning about the complexity of man.............
